Our specialist dachshund daycare service.

Dog sitting and day care is the core of our business. We want to make sure you can get on with your day without having to worry about your dog, so we have designed it to fit in with you. Our day care is dachshund exclusive because we believe that size matters, and no small dog likes to feel overwhelmed or intimidated by larger breeds. Also, we are aware that dachshunds can be very particular and so we aim to tailor the care especially to them. We are a small business dedicated to this breed, and are very experienced in their various quirks: their love of digging, barking, munching what they shouldn’t, and ingenious escape abilities. All the dogs we look after get the opportunity to mingle with other dachshunds, or bury themselves under a pile of blankets, if that’s their usual thing. We make it a priority that dogs feel safe, have fun and that their welfare is fully monitored while they are here. Our sausage guests will enjoy a daily morning walk of approximately 60 minutes in the local area. In the afternoons there will be plenty of time to play in our safe enclosed grassy back garden. If you have a sleepy sausage, guests can curl up in the warm indoors in front of the fire, in our new garden day room.

We provide everything they need for daytime: water bowls, hugs and tasty small treats. You provide us with their own blanket, food and maybe a favorite toy.

We provide care for an absolute maximum of six day care dogs at any one time (fewer, if there are resident boarders). At certain changeover times this number may increase for a short period , if unavoidable.
