• Bookings can be made by messaging Abie on Whats App, phone or email.

• We accept deposits and balance payments by Bank Transfer.

• All dogs are cared for as part of the family, with full access to the house and garden. Your dog will live with us in our own home and will be looked after exactly how they are used to. Crates and dog beds as well as sofa and bedroom sleeping are all possible. Please be aware that your dog may not be the only overnight guest, however separated rooms and sleeping spaces are always available. Additionally other dogs will be present for day care most days. We will seek your written permission before your dog’s stay.

• We have been looking after dachshunds exclusively for over 5 years and in that time have gained a great deal of practical experience about the personality, health issues, and temperament of dachshunds. Our own dachshund has had IVDD and so we have direct experience of how to manage this condition and many more health issues such as diabetes, allergies, deafness and sight loss.

• We are fully insured by Petplan Sanctuary at our private home for hosting canine day care, home boarding, walking dogs and transporting dogs by car with Petplan Sanctuary.

• We are sorry, but in order to maintain a high level of care, we are unable to host more than six dogs at any one time. [plus our Executive Sausage Enzo] Usually, this means four dogs for day care and up to two staying over. However, occasionally the number of dogs may increase for short times on changeover days.

• We are unable to facilitate visits from Dachshund Fans, as strangers can disrupt the status quo of the dogs, and cause unnecessary stress and noise.
